Travel Adventure

So we just returned to Kathmandu. On our drive back from Gorkha, the monsoon rain along with steep dirt mountain roads offered us a challenge.

It took us over six hours to travel about twelve miles. We pushed, pulled, bounced, hoisted and willed the jeep from one mud hole to the next. Some of the mud holes were more than knee deep. It was the fun mud that attaches itself on layers. I was two inches taller with the layers caked to the bottom of my shoes.

We had a good laugh looking at ourselves once we reached a town. The restaurant we stopped at hooked up a hose outside to hose ourselves off before we could come in.

Sorry no photos, I was too busy pushing.
